When is the best time for a sitter session? Beautiful baby photos

I am a baby photographer based in North London, I specialise in bump to baby photography, so anything from pregnancy and onwards. After a newborn photoshoot the next stage would be a sitter session. A lot of people would have missed out on a newborn session last year and this year because of the pandemic but don’t worry, sitter sessions are so cute! Not many people are aware of sitter sessions and forget about this stage but I think this milestone is so important. Babies grow up so quickly and are learning new skills every day so I love capturing every milestone, look at that cute little face below 🥰

How old should my baby be for a sitter session?

The best time for you to book in a sitter session is when your baby is sitting up on their own without any support. This tends to be around 6-9 months depending on your baby.

Where will the session take place?

Your sitter baby photoshoot will take place in my London studio. I am based in Barnet north London, I have all of my props to hand here and everything I need. You can just sit back and relax while I take some beautiful baby photos of your little one.

How long will the photoshoot last?

My sitter sessions last 1 hours, this is plenty of time for a baby of this age. I find that if they are longer than this the baby will be tired and we won’t get the most out of the photoshoot. Sometimes they will need a little big of time warming up to their new surrounds before the session and then we can carry on and have some fun!

What do I need to bring with me to my sitter session?

I have a few sitter outfits that you can borrow but you can also bring your own outfits as well. You can also bring any toys or keepsakes that you would like in the photos.

How much are your sitter sessions and how do I secure a sitter photoshoot?

You can find all of my sitter and baby photography prices here. It’s a £95 deposit and then this is taken off your you final package you choose. The edited photos would be ready to view 2 weeks after your session, this is when you can decide on the package you would like to purchase.
