Why book a cake smash session?
You might be wondering "What is a cake smash session" well if so, you have come to the right place. A cake smash photoshoot is a photoshoot that takes place when your baby is turning one years old. There are so many reasons to book a cake smash session and the number one reason is because they are lots of fun!
Your baby turning one is such a big milestone. Watching them learn and grow over the past year brings so much joy. From a tiny newborn to the amazing adorable older baby they have become.

When do i need to book in my cake smash session?
The best time to book in your cake smash session is 4 weeks before your babies birthday. This is because if you would like to have the photos back for the actual day of your babies birthday, i need enough time to get your gallery back over to you. If however you don't need the photos back for a certain date, anytime around your babies 1st birthday is fine. Some babies come in for their cake smash photoshoot on their actual birthday, which is loads of fun!
Where does the photography session take place?
My cake smash session's take place at my photography studio in Sidcup, South East London. Here i will have everything set up and ready for your arrival, ready to start the cake smash fun.
Whats included in my Cake smash packages?
Within my packages i include all of the decorations, you just need to bring the cake. I do have a local baker i work with that can supply a cake if you would prefer. Before your photography session we will discuss your preferred colours or theme for your shoot any ideas you have, so i can set it all up perfectly for you. If you would like to include some family photos, i will photograph these at the beginning of the session before the cake comes out. Once we have finished with the cake and getting messy, i usually end the session with some fun bath splash photos, every baby usually loves these!
When will we receive our final photos?
Three weeks after your photoshoot you will receive an online gallery to view your edited photos. From here you will be able to choose the photos for the package you have paid for.
How do i book a cake smash session?
To secure a date in my calendar you will need to pay the £99 deposit and the balance for your chosen package is due on the day of your session. If you are not sure which package you would like to go for, you can always pay for package one and upgrade once you have seen the edited photos.
