Cake smash photos London
Cake smash photography sessions are great for your little ones 1st birthday. They can also be for later birthdays but the 1st birthdays works the best as they are usually not quite walking yet. I always ask what colours you like and if you have any ideas/themes in mind I can set these up too for you. Cake smash sessions take place in my studio, this makes it easier for me to set things up and clean up afterwards. It can sometimes get very messy, some babies love getting into the cake like little Vysasvaan here, he was so cute!
How to prepare for your photography session
- You will need to bring the cake with you, I can provide this at an extra cost if you want me to
- A change of clothes for you and your baby. You might not need it but sometimes even the parents end up getting cake all over them
- You don’t need to bring any decorations as I will have this all done for you. Feel free to bring any personal bits if you want to
- I have lots of baby wipes for cleaning but you can also bring some if you wish
I also offer bath tub time after the cake smash sessions. These are great for your little one. They can have a splash around and clean that cake away! I have a cute little tub that I use for photos, you can see some examples on my website under cake smash gallery here.
Vysasvaans session
Vysasvaan’s session was so fun to photograph, his parents chose lots of bright colours for his cake smash session. I photographed him as a newborn so it was great to have him back in the studio! We started off by taking some photos before the cake came in and he got messy. Vysasvaan was so happy and he loved his cake, it wasn’t difficult to get him to smile. I love the cake smash photos where he is getting right in there and eating the cake, he looked so excited! We also used some bubbles at the end, you can see from these photos how much fun he was having! Here is a few of my favourite photos from Vysasvaans cake smash photography session.
