There are a few different options when booking in a Maternity photoshoot with me. A home maternity photoshoot is great if you maybe don’t feel as relaxed having your photos taken and want to be in the comfort of your own home. A lot of my maternity sessions take place in my London photography studio or also in a location such as a park. I love all of these different types of photoshoots and they are all tailored to your preferences. My Maternity sessions are relaxed and fun, my aim is to make you feel as comfortable as possible! I actually don’t like having my photos taken, so I know how you feel if this is you too. Don’t worry we shall create you some beautiful maternity photos 😊
Home Maternity session
This Maternity session took place in the comfort of their own home. This is what they decided was best for them and they had lots of natural light in their home so it was great for photos. We started off the maternity photoshoot with some relaxed photos on their bed. They had some large windows that let lots of natural light in. When I am photographing a home maternity session I mainly use natural light but I do have my on camera flash in case it is needed. These two were so cute together! They also had a balcony with some great views of London so we ventured out there for a little bit. It was a little bit cold so we didn’t stay out there for long. I love the photos outside on the balcony as we were able to achieve a wide variety of different maternity photos inside and outside.
Booking in your photography session with me
If you are looking to book in your maternity session with me its best to have the maternity photos taken when you are about 30-34 weeks. Although this is only a guideline and its will depend on how you are feeling. Pregnancy is different for everyone and some women’s bumps will get bigger earlier than others. Its’s a £95 deposit to secure your maternity session and then this is taken off from your chosen package. All my maternity photography prices can be found here. We can discuss whats best for you, it may be a home maternity photoshoot, in a beautiful park or coming into my studio.
