Congratulations! You are now pregnant and have so much to think about as you are preparing to bring you new little member of the family into the world. A great way to prepare is to write down a newborn baby check list. Being pregnant can be overwhelming with all the changes that are going to happen but what a beautiful time it is! There are a lot of things you will need being a new parent, being a equipped when coming home from the hospital will make being a new parent a lot less stressful. I have made a check list for most of the things you will need when having a newborn baby, I hope it helps!
Newborn baby check list
- Lots of bibs
- Breast pump
- breast pads
- lotion for sore nipples
- Milk storage containers
- Bottle and brushes
- Thermal bottle carrier
- Formula milk
- Nursing pillow
- Lots of newborn nappies
- Changing pads
- Baby ointment for babies bottom
- Disposable wipes or washable clothes to wipe babies bottom
- A mixtures of baby onesies
- newborn jumpers or cardigans
- A few warm blankets
- Some newborn baby mittens for hands
- Newborn baby socks or boots at least about 7 pairs of socks
- To keep your newborns head nice and cosy some newborn hats
- newborn stretchy sleepers with zippers (these are easy to get on and off)
- Baby soap
- Baby hair brush
- Soft hooded towels for after their bath
- A newborn/infant plastic bath
- Approved safety car seat
- Newborn Baby stroller
- Baby thermometer
- A monitor for when baby is sleeping
- syringe for sucking baby mucous
- Baby nail clippers
- Nappy/diaper bag
- sling or baby carrier
- Pacifier (if you want to use them)
- Sun shades for car windows
