Why should you invest in newborn photography?
Firstly thank you for clicking onto my website and taking the time to have a look and inquire! Newborn photography is such a special occasion and you should invest with someone who’s photos you love but also a photographer that is experienced with photographing newborns. You are putting your trust in them handling and posing your baby so this is a big part of the newborn photography experience. During my newborn sessions I take photos with and without props and I feel both are beautiful and this gives you a wide variation to choose from in your gallery. My newborn photography experience is aimed at you as an individual and what you would like to get from the session, every newborn session is different as all these little bubbas have their own little personalities!
Lastly and most importantly photographing your baby as a newborn will always remind you of this time. You have been through so much to get here, so cherish those first couple of weeks as this is such a magical time and looking back at your newborn photos will remind you of this every time. Their tiny little hands and feet will only be this small for so long, the newborn stage will be gone in a flash, so lets embrace and capture it for you with some beautiful newborn photos!
When and where do my newborn sessions take place and how do I book?
Newborn sessions take place in my home newborn studio in South East London (Sidcup). These sessions last about 3 hours and are booked in for the morning at 10.30am Weekdays Monday – Friday. I have my studio all set up for the perfect environment for your newborn in order to capture those perfect images for you! Newborn shoots are relaxing and allow time for feeding and fussing over your little one. During the shoot you can sit back and relax and have some you time. I have a variety of props which I use but we can chat about what colours and style you prefer before or on the day.
Newborn photography is best before 2 weeks but newborn shoots are still available up to 8 weeks but some newborn poses may be harder to achieve. I would book you in noting your due date and then once baby has arrived you would contact me and we will then arrange your newborn session within 2 weeks of the birth. I book a limited amount of newborns a month to allow for early and late babies.
It’s a £99 deposit to secure the session and then the final balance is due on the day of your session. 3 weeks after your session you will receive an online gallery of your edited photos. If you have gone with a small package and wish to upgrade at this time you can do.
